Peter Manning Robinson

A five-time BMI music award-winner, Peter Manning Robinson is a television music composer best known for his work on "Without a Trace." He earned his first film credit in 1983 when he served as music engineer on the prison thriller "Chained Heat," and later appeared in a brief role in "Down On Us," which focused on the United States government's intelligence operation that targeted musicians like Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix. Robinson worked as a music composer on early '90s TV movies like "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?," a remake of the cult 1962 film, and "Deception: A Mother's Secret," about the efforts of a grieving man to find the truth behind an orphan's parentage. In 1998 he composed the theme music for the short-lived Canadian TV series "The Crow: Stairway to Heaven," based on the 1994 gothic thriller, and later worked on the campy TV movie "Satan's School for Girls" and the biopic "Hefner: Unauthorized." From 2002 to 2008 he composed almost all of the music for the missing persons drama "Without a Trace," and has since continued to work on numerous television movies, including "Aftermath" and "Dangerous Child."
